Shana Bulhan is a queer, biracial, cross-cultural writer, poet, artist, and educator. An Academy of American Poets award winner, they received their MFA from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Feminist Studies. Their time studying Critical Social Thought at Mount Holyoke College informs their perspective on the use of language in investigating experiences of precarity and vulnerability in their work. Published in ANMLY, Meridians, smoke + mold, the Asian-American Literary Review, and numerous other places, their work is lauded for testing the limits of the romantic tradition.
